APA Tutorial Student Events

The APA Tutorial on Advances in Photosciences (APA-TAP) is an initiative of the Asian and Oceanian Photochemistry Association (APA), in collaboration with APC2018, to introduce the basic principles and concepts of photochemistry, photophysics and photobiology to the young graduate students and post-doctoral researchers. The focus of the tutorial will be given on introducing various light mediated photophysical and photochemical processes in molecules and materials such as (i) steady-state and time-resolved emission, (ii) energy and electron transfer process, (iii) spectroscopic and photochemical techniques, and instrumentation. The tutorial will also cover topics on various cutting-edge applications of photosciences in energy and optoelectronics to biomedical diagnostics and imaging.
To register and apply for the tutorial please contact your local APA council

Student Netwoking Event

All students attending the Asian Photochemistry Conference 2018 are invited to join the “Student Networking Event”. This event offers the opportunity to meet fellow photochemistry students, and to talk about your current study, university life, and culture of Asian and Oceanian countries over your poster. This session will be held at the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences, Academia Sinica. Located in National Taiwan University campus, the venue is approximately 10 minute walk from the Howard Civil Service International House. Light drinks and snacks are served at NO CHARGE.  For questions and registeration for the event please contact kazukiokano.ac06g@nctu.edu.tw
